Is Too Much Homework Bad for Kids’ Health?
I have always had a very hard time trying to concentrate on doing my homework. It takes me about 6 hours to do something that should take just 1 (not even exaggerating). I get great marks in all my classes, I can zoom through math problems super quick, but when I have to write an essay or give complete answers for questions, it takes me way longer than it should.

Children often complain that too much homework is bad for them - and now scientists have proved it. Homework should take just 60 minutes for pupils to benefit most and results drop if it takes.
Homework is an important part of being successful inside and outside of the classroom, but too much of it can actually have the opposite effect. Students who spend too much time on homework are not always able to meet other needs, like being physically and socially active.
I always feel like I have too much homework that I need to spend so much time on I'm a freshman in college taking 14 credits with 4 classes. I don't see how the hell people have so much time for having fun in clubs and sports and friends and parties.
Not so much a source of tension for us, because I do take a hands-off approach most of the time and hope that the doing or not doing of homework is a life lesson itself. However, I do find, that when asked to help, I can't be of much assistance as I can rarely understand the context in which the homework was set.
